Boats float freely in tranquil waters, suggesting a sense of peace and harmony. The presence of people and animals suggest that earth has been flooded, like in the ‘camp' movie 'Waterworld', which was, in a way, the inspiration for these paintings. The boats in all the paintings look fragile and not very viable. They are destined to sink sooner or later. The people on the boats are seemingly unaware of the poor state of their vessels, and are still trying to make the best of their situation.
