A miserable ship that probably cannot be saved. Although not everyone seems to mind.

The rats, however, have no confidence in a good outcome and seek their fortune elsewhere.

To observe light and perspective, and also to trigger the inspiration for this painting, I made this paper model. The model was constructed in a loose and improvised way.
